Girls Also Love Soccer

               Soccer is a popular sport in Indonesia. This sport is usually identic with boys, but many girls also love to watch soccer. They can wake up at midnight just to watch the match. The reason why they like it is various. Girls have their own reasons why they love this sport. There are some reasons that make them love soccer, such as can watch an interesting game, can express their emotion, and can see the players’ appearance.

                First reason of girls love soccer is they are interested in the game which has many rules. In soccer, there is a ball which is chased by many players. It looks funny. The players have to kick the ball until they make goal and get score. It is not easy because they have to face many players of opposite team. This sport game also has kind of punishment for those who break the rules. For example, when a player causes another player of the opposite team fall or even hurt, at that time the opposite team will get free kick or penalty. If the players do a worse mistake, they will get yellow card. After they get two yellow cards, and they make once more mistake, they will get a red card and go out from the game. Those rules are interesting for the girls.

                Another reason is girls can express their emotion. When they are watching soccer game, they cannot only be quiet. For example, they scream when the player makes a goal or nearly makes a goal. They will scream when they are happy or disappointed by the situation of the game. Besides, they will rage when their favorite team loose. They will blame the players or the referee for the failure. Girls do not stop talking about what the players should do and should not. They look like a team manager who is making strategy.

                The last reason why girls love soccer is that the girls want to see the players’ attractive appearance. They like to watch soccer because they are so glad to see the players’ charming face. When people ask them about their favorite soccer player, most girls will mention several handsome players’ name, such as Ricardo Kaka, David Beckham, Christiano Ronaldo, etc. Every soccer player has their own style that make girls like to see them. It can be their hair, their tattoo, or their dressing style. Besides, the way the players celebrate the goal is also interesting. They can do some actions, such as hugging, dancing, or doing another weird thing. Their action is always awaited.

                In short, not only boys who love football, but girls also love it. Interested in the game, can express their emotion, and love to see the players’ appearance are their reasons they love football. They can enjoy watching football just like boys do.

               

               

The Memorable Moment

     I often go to Kebun Wisata Pasir Mukti in Citeureup, Bogor. I have the most exciting experience when I have a short holiday in Kebun Wisata Pasir Mukti with my Senior High School Friends. We came to that place around at 10.00 am. We gathered at a small house. After all of us came, we ate branch together. After we had finished eating, we started talking about what we did in Senior High School. There is always something that makes Senior High School time so unforgettable. Next, we went to a mosque to pray zuhur. Then, we decided to go to flying fox zone. We chose flying fox which crossed a river. None of us wanted to do first, so I decided to do it. It made me nervous at the beginning, but it was so exciting. After that, we took a rest and had some ice cream. Finally, we went to a futsal field to take photos. That was the exciting experience, and it was so memorable.

Cooking Addict

     I have a classmate. Her name is Khaerani Safitri. Her hobby is cooking. She can cook well. She can cook because her mother is an expert in cooking. She likes to make cake the most, but she also can cook main course. She usually cooks for her brothers and sister when her parents are not home. Her cooking is so delicious. She also likes to cook in her leisure time. She can make every food ingredients to be something that we can eat. You do not have to worry about the taste. It is good. In her opinion, the hardest food to make is rendang because she often fails to make it. The most surprising thing is she makes a birthday cake for her friend by herself. Cooking is more than a hobby for her. It is an addiction.

Madness at Monas

     When I was in second semester I went to Monas with my friends. They are Cici, Jannah, and Khaerani. We went there after lecturing. We went there by Transjakarta. And crazy things were happened.
     When we arrived there, rain was falling. We only brought two umbrellas, so we use an umbrella for two people. And we walked to the monument to go to the top. When we arrived to the monument, we just realized back side of our clothes was wet and the other side was dry. When we wanted to go to the top, we met with our classmates, Nabil, Anis, Heflin, etc. They had wanted to go home. But, we still went to the top. After we had satisfied to look at the view from the top, we went down.

 
     When we arrived down, Jannah asked me to jogging. Then, both of us ran. I ran not really fast, but Jannah ran fastly. We were jogging wore jeans. I think it is a little strange. When we stopped running and take a rest, we do not see Cici and Khaerani.
     Do you know what happened with Cici and Khaerani? They walked slowly far from us while sang dangdut song. And they were smiling. They looked like insane people. But it is fun.
     There are always something crazy happen wherever we go. And it can be unforgettable moment.

Presentation

     Presentation is one of the most difficult things in lecturing. It always makes me nervous. It needs enough preparation, or everything is going to be in a mess. It also needs bravery and confidence because you will speak in front of many people. And I did some presentations in this semester. It is so hard, but I have to face it. In next Wednesday I have to do once more presentation for my final listening/speaking examination. Wish me luck for this presentation.

When In Bad Mood

     In this life, we do not always in good mood. Sometimes, we are in bad mood. When in bad mood, it makes us more sensitive. I prefer to stay in my room alone when I am in bad mood. When you are alone in your room, you can do some activities to calm yourself. You can do a little meditation to calm your mind. You also can play your music player, and make a play list which in accordance with your mood. Besides that, you can do an exercise by using barbell. Exercise can makes your body and mind be better. Or you can cry when you need to cry to lose your bad feeling. Sometimes, it helps. If those do not help, you can just close your eyes and you can take a rest for a while. When you wake up, your feeling is getting better. Hopefully, those can help. I do those when I am in bad mood. And it works for me. So, just try it.

Glee Soundtrack

     Glee is a television serial which famous in many countries. It is about teenagers who are incorporated in a choir club named Glee. I know about this television serial when I hear the soundtrack, Don’t Stop Believing on radio. The radio broadcaster told a little about Glee. And I was so curious about it at that time. And finally it is played in Indonesia. It is too late, but it is ok. And I think the story is very interesting. Actually, the soundtrack is one of the reasons I like this serial. They sing many nice songs. And I want to tell about some of my favorites in this time.
     In Madonna episode, they sang some of Madonna’s songs. And the song which I like the most in that episode is 4 Minute which was sung by Kurt and Mercedes. I like it because the arrangement was so great. Kurt and Mercedes sang was accompanied by marching band. It was so fantastic.
     In another episode, Mercedes and Artie sang Imagine from John Lennon. Their voices were great and touching. I almost always play this song in my computer.
     Another song that I like is My Endless Love. It was sung by Rachel and Mr. Schuster. Actually, I did not really like this song. But, when I hear their version, I like it a lot.
     Like a prayer is another soundtrack that I like. It was sung by all of cast of Glee Club. It is a nice song.
     In the last episode, Mr. Schuster sang Over The Rainbow nicely. I like his voice when he sang this song. He sang this song to show his gratitude to his students.
     I think that’s all I can share about Glee soundtrack for this time. Actually, there are still many good songs in this serial. Hopefully, next session will be played in Indonesia.

My Favorite Radio Station

     One of my hobbies is listening to the music. I usually listen to the radio to know the newest song. In the morning, I usually turn on my radio before I go to campus. Actually, I almost always turn on my radio when I am at home. My favorite radio station is Prambors FM. Its frequency is 102,2 FM.
     I have been listening to Prambors for five years or maybe more. So many interesting things that I got from this radio. I can listen many songs that I like; I can get a lot of information. And the way the radio broadcasters present the show is interesting. They talk about the topic attractively. And in certain day, like on Ramadhan month, they have a radio play. The radio play is the reason why I interested in to listening Prambors for the first time. And I almost never change my radio frequency to the others. Except, when there is any interference.
